How to setup FTP for uploading Photos and Video from Sunrise 2011 - A Basic Guide.

If you wish to upload your photos via a website interface please let me know and I can arrange that for you (email address below).
The reason FTP has been choosen, is that FTP allows differant file types, and lots of files at once, where as web based only allows you to upload one at a time, and can take longer.

Step 1) Download an FTP Client (Program) - The recommended client is called Filezilla, and can be downloaded here free for Windows, MAC, and Linux. If you already have your own installed skip to step 4.

Step 2) Install it.

Step 3) In the "File" menu click "Site Manager" and then click "New Site"

Step 4) Enter the details below into the relevent fields.

Host: ftp.goodisplanetearth.org

Port: 21

Username: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

Password: HEq68L5NKTT6

Step 5) Click connect and upload your files.

Filezilla will work like windows/mac/linux file managers, you just drag and drop your files from the left area to the right. Please could you right click and create a folder and name it with your name and then upload your files in there, this is so we know who has uploaded what.
